SCRIPTURE: He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. – 1 John 4:8.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Where love ends, there hate starts; where love ends, there wickedness begins.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
It has been established that one of the causes of lovelessness is godlessness. Godlessness is the origin of lovelessness. When people are godless, they are loveless.
1 John 4:8 says:
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
You cannot truly possess God and not possess love.
You know, as long as Adam and Eve were in the Presence of God in the garden, there was no calamity. The first calamity that happened at creation was after God drove man from His Presence in the garden.
Genesis 3:23-24 says:
Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Man left the Presence of God. Man left the Presence of Love. Man was pushed out from the presence of love.
Consequently, Adam gave birth to children outside the Presence of Love. No wonder his first born, Cain, became a killer; he killed his brother, Abel.
Genesis 4:8 says:
And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
This was the first case of murder in the Bible. It happened in Genesis after man was driven out of the Presence of Love.
The lesson here is, where love ends, there hate starts. Where love ends, there wickedness begins. Do not let anyone deceive you; you measure your godliness by your lovingness. To be godly is to be loving. Nothing can convince God or the devil that you are godly except that you are loving.

- Embrace the virtue of godliness so you can release love and kindness.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from the spirit of godlessness and wickedness. Fill my heart, Lord, with the love of Christ by the agency of Your Spirit, the Spirit of love, in Jesus’ Name.
