Israel-Hamas war: Israel launches heavy 24 hours of bombing since war began, killing 400 Palestinians

The Israeli military has carried out intense bombing over the past 24 hours, which is being described as the most intense since the Israel-Hamas conflict started two weeks ago. According to reports from Gaza, around 400 Palestinians lost their lives in these airstrikes.

Israel launched airstrikes on residential areas in Gaza, which included the densely populated Jabalia refugee camp as well as locations near Gaza’s Al-Shifa and Al-Quds hospitals.

Israel also carried out more raids in the occupied West Bank overnight, leading to the deaths of two Palestinians during a raid on Nablus.

On Sunday night, Rear Admiral Hagari from Israel confirmed that, sadly, one soldier lost his life and three others were injured during the unsuccessful attempt to rescue hostages in the Khan Younis area of Gaza.

The raid was carried out in an attempt to rescue the over 200 hostages who were taken during the Hamas attack on October 7. This attack resulted in the tragic deaths of over 1,400 people in Israel by gunmen from the terrorist group.

According to news sources in Gaza, over 400 people have been killed in Israeli air strikes within the past 24 hours. Palestinian media has referred to these strikes as the most intense bombardment since the Hamas attack on October 7th.

According to the Health Ministry in Gaza, 266 Palestinians, including 117 children, lost their lives due to Israeli air strikes in the last 24 hours. Israel has imposed a complete blockade on the enclave following a violent infiltration into Israel by Hamas gunmen.

According to health authorities in Gaza, the total number of casualties is reported to be at least 4,600. Additionally, over a million people, which is more than half of the enclave’s population of 2.3 million, have been forced to leave their homes due to the densely populated nature of the area.

Hamas reported that they engaged in a conflict with Israeli forces near Khan Younis in southern Gaza. They claimed to have destroyed a tank and two bulldozers during the battle.

The IDF later confirmed that a soldier had died and three others were injured. They stated that the casualties were caused by an anti-tank missile.

According to the military, there was an incident where an IDF (Israel Defense Forces) soldier lost their life, another soldier was moderately injured, and two soldiers sustained minor injuries. This occurred when an anti-tank missile was launched towards an IDF tank and an engineering vehicle.
