It is being reported that a Reverend from a United Methodist Church tragically took his own life after news of his adultery scandal was shared in the church’s WhatsApp group.
According to local news platforms in Zimbabwe, it was reported that Rev Oscar Mukahanana, who served as the Superintendent of Harare East District, tragically took his own life on Friday, October 20.
According to reports, he was involved in a romantic relationship with a young woman who was a member of the UMC. There are some leaked WhatsApp audios that reveal the District Superintendent having a secret meeting with the church lady. He mentioned how pleased he was that he was able to provide the girl with a satisfying session before her menstrual cycle.
Once the audio got leaked on the church’s Whatsapp group, his fellow church members started mocking and sharing it with other groups. They even started making memes, making fun of the District Superintendent because of the adultery scandal.
Confirming the death of the cleric, UMC Harare District said in a statement;
“It is with heavy heart to announce to you the untimely death of our Beloveth District Superintendent Rev Oscar Mukahanana of the Harare East District. The Office of the Bishop shall be informing the church of developments and funeral arrangements. As a Church, you are being cordially requested to support the Mukahanana family through your prayers.”
