Adeboye, who hit the venue alongside his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, revealed that he received a divine instruction to rename the well-known family within the RCCG structure.
While preaching from 2 Kings 2:19-24, Pastor Adeboye stated that the Apapa Family needed a fresh outpouring of grace, symbolized by the introduction of salt and a new cruse.
“God has instructed that this family be renamed to ‘The Favoured Family.’ It is a new chapter, a fresh direction, and a renewed purpose,” Pastor Enoch Adeboye declared as he unveils new name for the church.
“The Lord said the Apapa Family needs a new beginning. The salt signifies the restoration of flavor, healing, and divine favor. It is time to move forward without hindrance,” he said
The congregation were full of joy as Pastor Enoch Adeboye declared the church new name.
Over the years, the RCCG Apapa Family has undergone significant transformations, with various pastors contributing to its growth.
