45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
49 And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.
50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.
51 But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.
52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

MFM Devotional For Today 2024 MESSAGE:
Do you feel like throwing in the towel and giving up altogether? Don’t! Instead, let God encourage your heart. Let us look at some biblical tips on how to be encouraged.
First, stay in the word of God. The Bible is the ultimate authority, the final resting place of our cares, worries, grieves, tragedies, sorrows and surprises. It is the final answer to our questions. It is time to go back to the Bible, God’s Holy word, to find the encouragement to face life again. God has sent us His instructions, His heart-felt communications. We call it the BIBLE. It is all there, as He communicated it to those who wrote it down for us. He is not going to be so concerned about how much we memorised or how often we met to study. No. He will want to know what you did with His instructions! He has promised us hope and relief from discouragement. Yes, it is available. We actually can stand strong through discouraging times, but, only if we apply His directions and instructions. Our God will not leave us unattached in life. He has sent His Holy Spirit to stand with us and walk with us in those grey days. He will give you perseverance and encouragement as He escorts you through the down days, never leaving your side. “Discouragement may be awful, but it is not terminal.”
The second biblical tip is that you stay encouraged with worship. Something wonderful happens when we begin worshiping God either in private or as a community of believers. Worship connects us to God. Worship magnifies God, lifts our horizons from the burdens, changes our gloom or perspective, and renews or refreshes our spirits. Take a few moments today, if you will, and worship! Look up to God; He will lift you up!
You can also conquer discouragement by staying encouraged with the Good News: The good news is that, even in the midst of hopelessness, salvation is still ours. It comes by recognizing who Jesus is in life. He brings redemption from sin to anyone who asks. It is accomplished through resurrection faith.
God will encourage your life today if you will let Him. He will bring people, circumstances, light and love along your journey. Your job is to recognise Him along the way.

- Any power standing on my way to greatness, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.
- Internal witchcraft preventing my star from shining, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
- Powers of my father’s house that have set a limitation to my greatness in life, receive madness now, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- Every strange wind diverting me from the path of greatness, go back to your sender, in the name of Jesus.
- Goliath that stopped my parents, you will not stop me, receive the stone of death, in the name of Jesus.
- Arrows of wickedness pushing me backward, back fire, in the name of Jesus.
- O God, arise and defend Your interest in my life, in the name of Jesus.
