TOPIC: Breaking Through Satanic Barricade (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 31 August 2024)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Isaiah 7, Isaiah 8, Matthew 17, Matthew 18.
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Daniel 3:14-25 (KJV)
14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

MFM Devotional For Today 2024 MESSAGE:
There are two major concepts to consider in the above topic: “breaking through” and “barricade”. To break through is to make or force a way through a barrier. There are other related words for breaking through which are erupt, force a way, penetrate, come out, etc. Barricade on the other hand is an improvised barrier erected across a place like a street, a road or a way to prevent or delay any form of movement or opposing force.
Every child of God has the picture of their destiny which is always so enviable and glorious but still living a bleak and colourless life, Why? The answer is invisible barriers or satanic barricades are at work.
From our memory verse, we are made to understand the reality of many vicious adversaries and the fact of many barriers on the way to great doors that have been opened for us. This evil experience makes many struggle today; they work hard but nothing seems to be working because there are invisible forces resisting their progress (Zechariah 1:17-21).
Some examples of satanic barricades are: physical blindness like in the case of blind Bartimaeus. This was orchestrated by the enemy as a barricade to him from fulfilling his divine purpose, until he encountered Jesus (Luke 18:35-43).
Evil name is another satanic barricade. The man, Jabez, despite being more honourable than his brethren, the name his mother gave him (child of sorrow) definitely acted as a barrier on his path but through rigorous prayer, he got his total breakthrough. (1 Chronicles 4:9-10).
Another satanic barricade is barrenness, either physical or spiritual. Barrenness stood as a barricade to Sarah and Hannah but an encounter with the mercy of God and prayer gave them the joy of being called mothers.
Infirmity is also on the list of satanic barricade. For the man at the pool of Bethseda, this served as a barricade that wasted his years and opportunities until he encountered Jesus Christ. He got his wholeness and total breakthrough (John 5:5-15).
How can people break free from satanic barricade? You need to know Jesus and accept Him as the Lord of your life. Then, begin to follow Him closely on a daily basis.
MORNING
- Every invisible blockage on my path to greatness, clear away by fire, in the Name of Jesus.
- Blood of Jesus, destroy every dark power working against my glory, in the Name of Jesus.
- Satanic barricade on my life and destiny, scatter by fire, in the Name of Jesus.
EVENING
- I open great doors of breakthrough in all facets of my life, in the Name of Jesus.
- Power to keep on trusting God, overshadow my life, in the Name of Jesus.
- Effects of satanic barricade on my life, be destroyed by fire, in the Name of Jesus
- Mercy from the throne of grace, speak for me against satanic barricade, in the Name of Jesus.
